About
For the Marx Brothers' first production at their new studio home of MGM, the Zeppo-less trio of Groucho, Chico and Harpo join forces for the uproarious A Night at the Opera. A massive hit at the time, the film endures as perhaps the Brothers' final masterpiece and one of the finest comedies that Hollywood ever produced. It follows the wily Otis B Driftwood (Groucho) who — with the help of the chaotic Fiorello (Chico) and Tomasso (Harpo) — is trying to turn a profit in the cutthroat world of opera and unite two young lovebirds along the way.
