About

A dreamy examination of the 1980s ‘Satanic Panic’, in which a mass hysteria revived supposed memories of cult sacrifice and ritualistic abuse in people around the world. A unique mix of recreation, archival footage and computer-generated environments, Demonic was the only Australian film to be selected for the 2019 Cannes Film Festival.
