About
On a writer’s retreat away from the city, a novelist (Maggie Cheung), her sister (Bonnie Law) and their bafflingly-named friend Weeny Eyes (Lui Fong) find themselves in the middle of a real life murder mystery when a killer starts picking off the local villagers. They must use all of their cunning to figure out who is behind these gruesome attacks. A giallo-inspired thriller with a mischievous spirit and a penchant for gory surprises, Heartbeat 100 is a rarely screened gem from the early years of Cheung’s career.
