When a mild-mannered employee at a New York florist attempts to save the failing business by bringing in an exotic, carnivorous plant with a taste for human flesh, he soon realises his problems are just beginning. Directed by frequent Henson collaborator Frank Oz, the deliciously macabre horror comedy reimagined a 1982 hit Broadway musical, which was in turn based on a 1960s Roger Corman film.
