About
Despite not knowing each other, Weronika and Véronique (both Irène Jacob) have always sensed the other’s presence. When Véronique meets the puppeteer Alexandre (Philippe Volter) she begins to understand the mysterious bond. Krzysztof Kieślowski’s enigmatic, dreamlike film is a delicate exploration of intuition and identity. With profoundly beautiful cinematography, and a score by long-term collaborator Zbignew Preisner, it is considered one of the director’s finest works.
