About
The Linguini Incident will screen from a newly released 2K director's cut featuring a video introduction from the director.
Considered an obscure entry in Bowie’s filmography, the aptly named The Linguini Incident follows an aspiring escape artist (Rosanna Arquette), a British barman (David Bowie) and a lingerie designer (Eszter Balint) in New York, as they plan to rob a downtown Manhattan restaurant to fund their peculiar dreams.
This unforgettable 90s screwball comedy boasts a star-studded ensemble in a narrative reminiscent of the New York No Wave movement. Co-funded by David Bowie's own production company, and regarded as Bowie’s first on-screen comedic role, this recently re-cut off-beat and subversive slapstick rom-com charts the trajectory of the ambitious trio as they endeavor to make their dreams become a reality.
