About
One of the key entries in the Ozploitation cinema canon, Brian Trenchard-Smith’s film finds Hong Kong Inspector Fang Sing Leng (the One-Armed Swordsman himself, Jimmy Wang Yu) flown into Sydney to assist the local authorities bust an international criminal racket. At the head of the nefarious enterprise: Jack Witton (the One-Time Bond himself, George Lazenby), a moustachioed kingpin whose penthouse fortress will require creative aerial innovation to penetrate.
The first co-production between Australia and Hong Kong, the film mixes stunt-laden set-piece spectacle with hard-hitting martial arts action. Riffing on the tropes of Hollywood spy and crime pictures, Australian cult icon Trenchard-Smith delivers a rollicking adventure filled with thrills, spills and high-octane hang-gliding.
