Immerse yourself in an intimate evening that weaves together the culture, art and flavours of Australia’s oldest living culture.

Inclusions:

The evening commences with a grounding Welcome to Country, Smoking Ceremony and Didgeridoo performance. From there, be guided on a private tour of the Gallery’s Indigenous Art Collection, exploring the diverse stories, complex histories and rich culture of First Nations artists and their work. The evening concludes with a two‑course dinner at GOMA, thoughtfully crafted with Native Australian ingredients.

The evening itinerary:

4.00–4.45pm | Native botanical cocktail on arrival & Indigenous Welcome
4.45–5.45pm | Private tour of the current Indigenous Australian Art Collection exhibition at GOMA
5.45‑8.00pm | Canapes & refreshments, followed by a two-course dinner, from the Gallery’s Native Australia menu.

For this premium experience, the Gallery is exclusively yours for the night.

Inclusions:

This evening begins on the banks of the Brisbane River ― a traditional meeting and trading place for the region’s First Nations peoples ― with a beautiful Welcome to Country, Smoking Ceremony and Didgeridoo performance.

From here, discover the powerful stories at the heart of the Gallery’s Indigenous Art Collection on a private tour led by a First Nations storyteller, artist and curator.

Following the tour enjoy an unforgettable dinner at GOMA. Dine alongside our First Nations storyteller, artist and curator, as our Chef shares details about the native Australian ingredients included in each dish. Enjoy a rich conversation over dinner of art and culture accompanied by First Nations live music and dance performances.

On departure receive a bespoke gift, courtesy of the QAGOMA Store and Aboriginal Art Co.
