It’s not every day a wombat finds herself accidentally becoming a superhero. Recluse wombat Maggie Dent comes to the rescue of Sweetie the sugar glider when his store is visited by a group of unlawful and unruly drop bears. This unexpected event launches Maggie in a new direction and burgeoning friendship between a wombat and her self-appointed and rather persistent sugar glider sidekick. Superhero fever is sweeping across the city when Maggie discovers that this heroic gig might turn out to be more complicated than she realised. Starring Australian icons Deborah Mailman as the titular hero and Judith Lucy as the glamorous and dastardly koala PR manager CeCe.
