All student groups are self-guided and must book in advance of their visit. We can assist you plan an engaging visit that is tailored to your area of interest or learning focus.

Community associations of 10–30 people must book in advance and may be eligible for a free 30–40 minute highlights-style tour led by our volunteer guides (subject to availability).

*15 days booking notice is required.

School Access Program

We know transport costs to get here can be a barrier for some schools. ‘Destination QAGOMA’ supports eligible Queensland schools to travel to the gallery and experience a class visit.

Accessibility Tours

QAGOMA offers inclusive tours and accessible programs for the d/Deaf community, visitors with hearing loss, people with low and no vision, visitors with neurodegenerative diseases causing dementia, and audiences with sensory sensitivity and other disability.

Volunteer Guided Tours

Daily public tours* led by our Volunteer Guides are scheduled from mid-Jan to mid-Dec, at set dates and times. Bookings are not required.

*Not suitable for booked groups due to capacity.
